Living standards of Belarusians unchanged despite domestic, foreign problems

       Despite domestic and foreign problems living standards of Belarusians have stayed unchanged, BelTA quotes Vice Prime Minister of Belarus Piotr Prokopovich at the joint session of both chambers of the Belarusian parliament. He stressed that one cannot say that only external factors prevented the accomplishment of the main forecast goals. “At the same time despite these objective and subjective conditions the key task of preventing a decrease in living standards of the nation has been fulfilled. We have managed to do it. In January-November 2014 the growth rate of real revenues of the population totaled 101.7%,” said Piotr Prokopovich. “On the whole, results of the year 2014 can be called positive. But we will face even more complicated tasks in 2015 taking into account the situation that it is impossible to forecast in Russia and Ukraine and taking into account the fact that there are quite many domestic issues in Belarus that have to be addressed,” said Piotr Prokopovich.
