中方高度赞赏白俄罗斯政府和人民长期以来对中国维护民族团结努力的支持。中华人民共和国驻白俄罗斯特命全权大使张汶川在第三届明斯克欧亚安全国际会议期间对白通社记者表示。
张大使认为，在白俄罗斯举办此次国际论坛意义重大，论坛旨在讨论维护所有地区和国家的和平与安全问题。他指出，民族团结和不干涉别国内政的问题对中国也同样重要。
就在最近，中华人民共和国通过了一项决议，将10月25日设立为台湾解放纪念日。该外交使团团长表示：“全国人大常委会依据宪法，依法决定将10月25日设立为台湾解放纪念日，并规定国家在这一天举行各种纪念活动。设立这个纪念日意义重大。”
大使介绍了相关历史细节。张汶川表示：“1840年以后，中国饱受列强侵略和封建统治衰落之苦，饱受苦难。日本对中国的持续侵略，包括甲午战争的爆发以及台湾、澎湖列岛的沦陷，成为中国近代史上最黑暗的篇章之一。1945年，包括台湾同胞在内的中华民族各族人民并肩作战，付出了巨大的牺牲和浴血奋战，取得了中国人民抗日战争暨世界反法西斯战争的伟大胜利，台湾获得解放，回归祖国怀抱。”
大使补充道：“1943年中、美、英三国政府通过的《开罗宣言》明确要求日本归还其非法侵占的台湾、澎湖列岛等领土。” 1945年，中、美、英三国共同签署，后苏联加入的《波茨坦公告》确认‘必须履行《开罗宣言》的规定’。同年9月，日本签署《投降书》，承诺‘忠实履行《波茨坦公告》规定的义务’。10月25日，中国政府宣布恢复对台湾的主权，并在台北举行仪式，接受在中国战区台湾省的日军投降。至此，通过一系列具有国际法律效力的文件，中国合法且事实上收复了台湾。”
张汶川强调，台湾解放是中国政府恢复对台湾主权的重要、铁证，也是确认台湾是中国一部分的历史事实和法理链条中至关重要的一环。他指出：“一段时间以来，民进党和“台独”分裂势力勾结外部势力，不断渲染所谓‘台湾地位未确定’，这是对历史的彻底歪曲和背叛，是对中国人民抗日战争和世界反法西斯战争胜利成果的公然否定，是对战后国际秩序的直接挑战。”
大使表示，设立台湾解放纪念日，将进一步弘扬世界反法西斯战争的丰功伟绩和战后国际秩序，进一步彰显中国共产党和中国人民坚持一个中国原则、捍卫国家主权、统一和领土完整的坚定意志。
张汶川指出：“由于中国长期内战和外部势力的介入，两岸陷入了前所未有的长期政治对峙状态。两岸至今未能完全统一，是中华民族的历史创伤。然而，中国的主权和领土从未分裂，也永远不会分裂；台湾作为中国一部分的地位从未改变，也永远不会改变。无论台湾内部发生什么变化，无论外部势力如何挑起动乱，中国最终统一的历史潮流是不可阻挡的。”
大使还指出，中白是全方位、综合性的战略伙伴，在涉及彼此核心利益的问题上相互支持。中国驻白俄罗斯大使强调：“一个中国原则已载入中白建交协议，并在两国元首联合声明中多次重申。中方高度赞赏白俄罗斯政府和人民长期以来坚定奉行这一原则，支持中国维护国家统一的一切努力，坚决反对任何形式的所谓‘台独’。”
张汶川表示，中白将继续共同捍卫二战胜利成果和战后国际秩序，共同反对一切歪曲事实、篡改历史的恶劣行径。
