Продовольственная и сельскохозяйственная организация ООН (ФАО) должна предложить всем странам методы минимизации вреда от односторонних принудительных мер. Об этом представитель Беларуси при ФАО Кирилл Петровский заявил в ходе заседания Совета организации по вопросу глобальной продовольственной безопасности, сообщили в пресс-службе МИД Беларуси.
"Существует поговорка: "У вранья короткий век". Я уверен, что Совету ФАО хватило 2022 года, чтобы однозначно разобраться, что санкции или односторонние принудительные меры в отношении удобрений и продовольствия существуют, что львиная их доля не имеет никакого отношения к кризису в Украине по той простой причине, что они были введены значительно раньше, и что наличие санкций является как минимум одной из причин кратного роста цен", - отметил дипломат.
В связи со сказанным он предложил эту часть дискуссии оставить в прошлом. Тем более что последнее заседание Комитета по всемирной продовольственной безопасности четко показало: договориться со странами, которые эти санкции ввели, ни о чем не получится. "Они готовы голосовать даже за то, чтобы исключить, вымарать, вычеркнуть, удалить из отчета о работе комитета само упоминание дискуссии о санкциях, несмотря на то, что она в действительности имела место. Чего уж ждать от них признания влияния санкций на голод", - заметил Кирилл Петровский.
Он подчеркнул, что существует весь остальной мир. Кроме одного миллиарда людей, живущих в странах, вводящих санкции, есть и другие 7 миллиардов людей. И 800 с лишним миллионов голодающих находятся как раз среди оставшихся семи миллиардов.
"И эти 7 миллиардов тоже видят, что ФАО, говоря о причинах голода, методично "забывает" об односторонних принудительных мерах. Именно этому было посвящено мое письмо в адрес главного экономиста ФАО, - сказал белорусский дипломат. - Раз мы не можем убедить одни страны перестать вредить другим, ФАО должна хотя бы идентифицировать этот фактор влияния на продовольственную безопасность и предложить нам всем методы минимизации вреда от односторонних принудительных мер".
Кирилл Петровский пояснил свою позицию на белорусских примерах: "Коль скоро США и ЕС ввели санкции в отношении белорусского производителя азотных удобрений, значит нужно предложить миру шире использовать иные валюты, кроме доллара и евро, в расчетах за азотные удобрения. Литва закрыла белорусским удобрениям выход к морю, значит нужно, чтобы по всему миру были созданы стабильные пути доставки удобрений и продовольствия, не подверженные политической воле отдельных стран. И так далее".
"Именно такой работы ФАО мы ждем. Именно на это рассчитывают те самые 7 миллиардов, которые сегодня платят за чужие амбиции", - резюмировал дипломат.
