В Палате представителей Национального собрания 14 сентября состоялось заседание постоянно действующего молодежного форума «Беларусь помнит!». По его итогам была принята резолюция.
В современных политических условиях борьбы за свое историческое наследие важно не только популяризировать память о героическом прошлом белорусов, но и ответственно подходить к подготовке профессиональных историков, ученых, способных не только изучать, но и пропагандировать исторические факты, воспитывать у молодежи уважение к своей истории и стране. Именно поэтому в стенах Дома правительства собрались молодые историки - аспиранты, магистранты исторических факультетов учреждений высшего образования из всех регионов Беларуси. Участники форума обсудили борьбу белорусского народа за свое право жить в едином государстве, а также дали оценку попыткам современных польских политиков и историков продолжать экспансионистскую политику в отношении Беларуси.
Участники форума отметили, что польский межвоенный режим прошел несколько стадий эволюции: от авторитарной власти Пилсудского к установлению открытой военной диктатуры, которая поддержала агрессию Германии против Чехословакии и пыталась ликвидировать любые национальные меньшинства внутри польского государства, создать в Восточной Европе моноэтническое, целиком полонизированное общество. "При этом на протяжении двух десятилетий происходило экономическое разграбление белорусских территорий, находящихся под оккупацией Польши, повсеместно осуществлялись репрессии, жестоко подавляющие белорусские национальные организации. Для белорусов вводились запреты на родной язык, на профессию, вводились имущественные и этнические ограничения для получения образования. Несмотря на это, наши предки не смирились с полонизацией и порабощением, оказывали героическое сопротивление, которое носило всенародный характер, вступали в ряды комсомола Западной Беларуси и КПЗБ", - отмечается в резолюции.
"Чтобы ликвидировать белорусское национальное движение, на территориях Западной Беларуси был введен военно-полицейский режим с опорой на осадников. Однако с началом Второй мировой войны польские вооруженные силы не смогли обеспечить безопасность этих территорий. К 17 сентября польская армия была фактически разгромлена, польское правительство бежало. И только воссоединение белорусских земель с БССР позволило сохранить наш народ как этническую группу, уберечь его, как и другие национальности, проживавшие в Западной Беларуси, от политики гитлеровского геноцида", - подчеркивается в документе.
Участники форума осуждают историческую политику современного польского государства, которое игнорирует исторические факты, героизирует антисоветские бандформирования, уничтожает военные мемориалы и по-прежнему считает восточные кресы своей сферой влияния. Польским политикам следует навсегда забыть о распространении какого бы то ни было влияния на суверенное государство - Республику Беларусь. "В преддверии Дня народного единства участники форума обращаются к белорусам с призывом помнить эти два десятилетиях героической отечественной истории и всенародного сопротивления польской оккупации. Такая память является противоядием и защищает нас от недружественной политики иностранных государств", - констатировали они.

I recently learned my surname is not Polish, but Belarusian. I heard you on shortwave in the past and am so happy to listen online in English. We hear nothing about Belarus here in the US so I am so glad to learn about your country. Keep on broadcasting in English. I also joined the Hoererklub on Facebook as I can understand German.
