The Grand Prix of the 15th International Animated Film Festival Animayevka 2012 that was held in Mogilev went to China’s movie Shoes.

       The best movie directed by China’s Mao Qichao got a diploma, a special prize Chrystal Pencil and other gifts.
       The Best Children’s Movie nomination was won by the Czech director David Sukup with the entry Intelligence and Luck; the winner in the Best Visual Solution nomination was Polish director Jaroslav Konopka and his movie Life Dependence; the Master nomination was won by Mikhail Tumel of Belarus; the People’s Choice Award went to Oleg Uzhinov, Russia, for the entry Home Alone; the winners in the Best Experimental Movie nomination were directors Stephen and Timothy Quay, Poland, with the movie Mask. All the winners were awarded diplomas and prizes Chrystal Pencil.
Special diplomas of the festival were presented to Farangiz Kuliyev from Azerbaijan, Alexander Shmygun from Ukraine, Alexander Lenkin from Belarus, Janis Cimermanis from Latvia, Marek Skrobecki from Poland.
      The winner of the children’s animated movie contest was Yelizaveta Averko from Estonia with Flying Class. A special diploma and Small Chrystal Pencil went to Kostya by Anton Diakov from Russia. Special diplomas were presented to the children’s animated movie studio We Are! (Belarus) and Daria Deren from Russia.
       A total of 83 animated films from all over the world were presented at the festival.
