PM: Belarus’ outsourcing companies must build presence in Africa, Asia, Latin America

Belarusian holding companies, first of all, companies affiliated with the Industry Ministry, should make the most of their potential and set up outsourcing companies in Africa, Southeast Asia, Central Asia and Latin America. The task was set by Belarusian Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich at a session of the Foreign Ministry. The head of government noted that the world is changing very fast, the international community is dealing with absolutely new challenges, so Belarus should not lag behind the process. “Africa, Southeast Asia, Central Asia and Latin America have natural resources, but do not have technologies and finances to develop and process these resources. In this connection Belarusian holding companies (first of all those affiliated with the Industry Ministry) should set up companies to provide outsourcing services for partners from these regions along the entire technological cycle,” Mikhail Myasnikovich said. The Foreign Ministry was tasked to deal with this matter and make sure two or three companies of this kind will be set up in H1 2014.
