New solutions for the energy sector were presented at the INNOPROM. Belarus exhibition, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Energy Ministry.
The Energy Ministry presented the industrial and technological potential of the sector in three areas: electrical equipment, gas equipment and personnel training. The ministry’s exposition is located on two stands with a total area of 120 square meters.
The stands showcased technologies for power grids. Minsk Electrotechnical Plant named after V. I. Kozlov is demonstrating energy-efficient power transformers, while Raton is showing a 10 kV complete switchgear with SF6 insulation. In certain areas, the level of production localization has reached 80%, which has made it possible to replace previously imported solutions.
New solutions for the operation of energy facilities were also presented. Elektrotsentrmontazh is showing a 0.4 kV low-voltage switchgear with withdrawable compartments. A separate compartment can be replaced or repaired without disconnecting the entire cell. Such devices will be manufactured this year for two Minskenergo facilities.
Another development on display is a digital simulator for power engineers. Belenergoremnaladka is presenting a computer simulator created on the basis of equipment from Minsk CHPP-4. It makes it possible to accurately reproduce the operation of power equipment and to practice personnel actions in normal and emergency situations.
The exposition also features developments by Belgaztekhnika and the Novogrudok Gas Apparatus Plant: equipment for gas supply systems, gas cylinders with RFID tags and metering devices with the ability to automatically transmit data over the NB-IoT network.
The Energy Ministry noted that the exhibition is an opportunity not only to present its own developments, already in use at facilities, but also to identify new areas for industrial cooperation and to expand markets for Belarusian energy equipment.
Minsk is hosting the 2nd International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM. Belarus from 30 September to 2 October. Representatives of more than 40 countries are taking part. The total area of the exhibition exposition is 20,000 square meters.
