Lukashenko extends condolences on passing of People's Writer Nikolai Cherginets

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent condolences to the family and loved ones of People's Writer of Belarus, statesman Nikolai Cherginets, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of Nikolai Cherginets, an outstanding writer and statesman. His personal integrity and compassion, along with his experience as a combat officer and life wisdom, were the very foundations of his creative accomplishments and enduring popular admiration. His multifaceted work left a notable mark on the social and cultural life of Belarus and stands as a vivid example of selfless service to the Fatherland,"’ the message reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed his belief that the fond memory of this remarkable man will forever remain in the country's history and in the hearts of Belarusians.
