Belarusian BelAZ presents innovations for miners at exhibition in Bishkek

The Belarusian automobile engineering company BelAZ demonstrated its high technological potential in the capital of Kyrgyzstan. The first international exhibition Ala-Too Trade & Industry Expo 2026, with participation from companies of SCO member states, has concluded in Bishkek, BelTA learned from the enterprise.

At the Belarusian national exposition, BelAZ showcased innovative transport solutions for the mining industry and the 27-tonne MoAZ-75054 earthmoving haul truck, powered by a 360 hp diesel engine. This is a new all-wheel-drive haul truck in the high-mobility vehicle line from BelAZ’s Mogilev branch. Its primary task is the efficient transport of soil during overburden operations in the mining industry, as well as on large-scale construction sites, from hydraulic engineering facilities to railways.

Kyrgyzstan has enormous potential in the mining sector, from rich gold deposits to unique rare earth metal reserves. The earthmoving haul truck immediately found a buyer and went straight from the exhibition floor to work in the quarry of one of the country’s largest gold mining companies.

BelAZ’s booth in Bishkek was visited by Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev and other officials, as well as company executives and mining holding leaders. The visitors showed great interest in BelAZ’s innovative developments, which open up qualitatively new opportunities for miners: mining haul trucks running on liquefied natural gas and hydrogen, fully electric and hybrid vehicles, as well as the latest underground mining equipment and specialized machinery.

The Central Asian market is of strategic importance to BelAZ. The forum in Bishkek served as a promising business platform for expanding contacts with key players in the mining industry of the Eurasian continent. The scale of the event is confirmed by the numbers: the Ala-Too Trade & Industry Expo 2026 brought together more than 50 of the largest companies from SCO member states - China, Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
