Lukashenko: State symbols by people have become integral part of daily life

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated his compatriots on the Day of the State Flag, State Emblem and State Anthem of the Republic of Belarus, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“The trio of state symbols chosen by the people reflects the experience and traditions, the complex historical path of our independent and sovereign state, as well as the beauty and uniqueness of blue-eyed Belarus. They accompany us during the most significant moments of public life and have already become an integral part of everyday reality,” the message of greetings reads.

The head of state noted that respect for the emblem, flag and anthem unites Belarusians and strengthens patriotic sentiment toward the country’s achievements and those of its people. “These symbols will continue to inspire a sense of pride, belonging to the destiny of Belarus, and responsibility for its future,” he emphasized.

“May our state flag fly proudly in the clear sky, may the emblem show the world our will, wisdom and peacefulness, and may the sounds of children’s voices during the performance of the anthem touch every soul,” Aleksandr Lukashenko added.

The president wished his compatriots health, well-being, and new successes and accomplishments.
