Cuba is interested in Belarusian experience in housing construction. This was discussed during a working meeting between Belarusian Deputy Architecture and Construction Minister Aleksandr Balashenko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Cuba to Belarus Santiago Perez Benitez, Cuban Deputy Construction Minister Ricardo Carbajo Chelala and heads of organizations affiliated with the Belarusian Construction and Architecture Ministry, the press service of the Belarusian Construction and Architecture Ministry told

Welcoming the Cuban delegation, Aleksandr Balashenko emphasized that construction plays a vital role in any country's economy. He noted that the state of the construction industry can reflect a nation's development prospects.
The meeting touched upon housing construction, technologies to construct high-rise residential buildings, developments in Belarus' cement industry and reinforced concrete production, and specialist training.
Ricardo Carbajo Chelala highlighted Cuba's strong interest in Belarus' housing construction experience and the modernization of construction material factories.
The meeting also discussed the possibility of concluding a memorandum of cooperation in the construction industry between Belarus and Cuba.
