Belarus, China’s Gansu Province expand cooperation

Gansu Province of China has established friendly twinning relations with Grodno Oblast and Belarusian cities and is effectively developing cooperation by implementing the Belarusian-Chinese agreements at the highest level, Dai Chao, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of Gansu Province, told the media, BelTA has learned.

Dai Chao cited the investment sector as an example: "CGICOP investment projects are a success in Belarus. A large-scale production has been launched on an eco-farm in Minsk. The project has been invested by a machinery manufacturing company from Gansu.”

Dai Chao also touched upon cooperation in the field of Chinese medicine. “The Chinese medicine center established by Gansu in Grodno is the first Chinese medicine center opened in Belarus,” he said.

Speaking about cultural cooperation, the deputy director of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of Gansu Province emphasized: “In 2023, the first deputy culture minister of Belarus was invited to the Silk Road International Cultural Expo in Dunhuang, and the Belarusian folklore band Kupalinka performed at a concert in Lanzhou. In December 2024, the acrobatic troupe of Gansu Province was invited to perform at the show Times of Our Victories.
