Interest of Polish investors in Belarus expected to rise

Some time ago Doradca Consultants examined the factors behind the decisions Polish investors make regarding the attractiveness of this or that sphere or a country for their investments. The decision hinged on the volume of the local market virtually in 50% of the cases. The important factors also included the geographical position of the country, low political risks, small competition, and access to global markets. The results of the research allows predicting the interest of Polish investors in Belarus, believes Helena Marcinowicz. “In many considerations Belarus now meets expectations of Polish investors. It is attractive both as a manufacturing site and a local market that can grow. Investors often need solid support for their projects, mediation for the sake of getting to know legal and economic conditions of doing business in detail and nothing more than that. It is not that difficult to establish mutually beneficial investment cooperation in this regard,” she said.
