Belarus needs a mobile army with effective weapons, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said as he visited defense sector companies in Borisov, BelTA reports. “Therefore, we need to provide it with mobile machines with efficient weapons,” the Belarusian leader emphasized.
During a visit to the electronic equipment repair factory the President was briefed on the efforts to establish an own Belarusian air defense missile system.
Alexander Lukashenko stressed that in addition to the repair and modernization, the defense sector enterprises should gradually approach the creation of new modern Belarus-made weapons.
