Belavia resumes charter flights to Tunisia

After a five-year hiatus, Belavia has resumed its charter flight service to Enfidha, one of Tunisia’s popular Mediterranean resorts, the airline’s press service told BelTA.

The first flight departed from Minsk on 22 May at 02:00. The tour operator Intercity acted as the consolidator of the flight.

Tunisia has long been a popular holiday destination. Belavia’s first flights to the country’s resorts were launched back in 2014. The program later became annual, and in 2019 flights to Tunisia were operated not only from Minsk but also from almost all regional centers of Belarus. Flights were carried out both to Enfidha and to nearby Monastir.

In the 2026 season, charter flights to Enfidha are scheduled once every 11-12 days, with the program running until October. Services will be operated using an Airbus A330-200 wide-body aircraft featuring a spacious economy-class cabin and a separate business-class cabin with fully lie-flat seats.

The first flight was almost fully booked. Tickets for the route are available as part of a travel package.

“This destination fits naturally into the airline’s summer charter program. In 2026, Belavia, together with its partners, is operating tourist flights to Turkish resorts, Bodrum, Antalya, and Izmir, as well as to Egypt’s Sharm El Sheikh, Hurghada, and El Alamein. Some programs are available not only from Minsk but also from regional airports,” said Vladimir Barkun, Belavia’s Deputy Director General for Marketing and Foreign Economic Activity.

Also on 22 May, Belavia plans to resume regular flights to Dubai, and on 28 May it will launch a seasonal regular service from Minsk to Murmansk. A week later, on 29 May, a charter program from Brest to El Alamein will begin. It is a new destination for the regional airport.
