At the invitation of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, a parliamentary delegation of the National Assembly of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, representing the youth wing of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, will visit Belarus on 16-18 April, BelTA learned from the press service of the House of Representatives.
The visit program is set to include meetings with the working group of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus on cooperation with the Parliament of Venezuela, with the leadership of the youth councils under the House of Representatives and the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, as well as with the youth wing of the Belaya Rus party, the Communist Party of Belarus, and the Belarusian BRSM Youth Union. The delegation will also visit several Belarusian enterprises, educational institutions, and cultural organizations.
The parties are expected to discuss a wide range of matters related to interparliamentary cooperation, partnership in cultural and humanitarian areas, the exchange of legislative experience, and views on a number of pressing international issues affecting the rights and interests of young people.
The visit will conclude with the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Youth Council under the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus and young parliamentarians of the National Assembly of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
