Belarusian Steel Works BMZ among suppliers of Russia's KamAZ in 2014

Belarusian Steel Works BMZ will be one of the suppliers of the Russian company KamAZ in 2014. “Despite the difficult situation on the metal products market the year 2013 ended on a positive note: supplies to Russia increased in comparison with 2012. The concrete achievements include the results of the talks with KamAZ Company. The talks resulted in the inclusion of BMZ in the list of suppliers for 2014,” the Industry Ministry quoted Sergei Nosovitsky, Head of BMZ Trading House (Moscow), as saying. The information was released at a meeting with distribution chain entities at Belarusian Steel Works. 

Vyacheslav Kushnarev, Director of Bel-Kap-Steel (USA), also mentioned positive changes on the market of metal products. In his words, the year 2013 was not simple yet BMZ managed to demonstrate unique qualities, which were leveraged towards securing the company’s market position with regard to the competitive ability, flexibility, and the introduction of new kinds of merchandise. It resulted in a noticeable progress in sales of seamless pipes in North America.
