The Collective Security Treaty Organization is closely monitoring the development of the situation on the Afghanistan-Pakistan border, reads a commentary by the CSTO Secretariat on the situation on the border of these states, BelTA learned from the CSTO press service.

“The CSTO Secretariat is closely monitoring the development of the situation on the Afghanistan-Pakistan border. The organization is committed to peace and stability in the region and proceeds from the understanding that a political and diplomatic settlement of the conflict is the only correct solution,” the CSTO emphasized.
