Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has said that he believes Ukraine will accept the peace proposal put forward by the United States. He made these remarks at the CSTO summit in Bishkek,

“Let me reiterate: we support your [Russia’s] efforts to reach a peace deal with Ukraine. As I said yesterday, if the Americans conduct themselves as genuine diplomats and lawyers, this peace plan will be finalized, as the main points have already been agreed upon,” the Belarusian leader said.
“Now, as they say, the ball is in Ukraine’s court. Given the current situation on the front lines, I believe Ukraine will have to agree to this peace plan; otherwise, it risks losing its statehood entirely,” added Aleksandr Lukashenko.
