The border crossings on the Belarusian side of the Belarusian-Polish border will keep working, BelTA learned from Anton Bychkovsky, spokesman of the State Border Committee of Belarus.
Anton Bychkovsky noted: “The border crossings on Belarus’ side will continue working and will be able to resume the clearance of people and vehicles as soon as possible.”
On 11 September Poland’s Border Guard officially informed the State Border Committee of Belarus that border crossings at the Belarusian-Polish border will be closed as from 01:00 on 12 September. Those are the border crossings for automobiles (Brest-Terespol and Kozlovichi-Kukuryki) and four border crossings for trains (Grodno-Kuznica Bialostocka, Berestovitsa-Zubki Bialostockie, Svisloch-Siemianowka, and Brest-Terespol). The Polish side promised to release information about when the border crossings would be reopened later.
