The meeting focused on strengthening political dialogue, expanding trade and economic cooperation, deepening social and humanitarian ties, and, in particular, cooperation in international organizations.

“It is important to expand inter-parliamentary contacts between Belarus and India, including inter-parliamentary exchanges,” Sergei Aleinik stressed.

The meeting also highlighted the role of friendship groups and the potential of parliamentary structures such as the Inter-Parliamentary Union, the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, BRICS, and others in promoting multipolarity and building a fair world order.

The parties exchanged views on the global geopolitical situation and emphasized the need to use political and diplomatic tools for the peaceful resolution of armed conflicts.
