Belarus, China set up industrial cooperation commission

Belarus and China have set up an industrial cooperation commission, Industry Minister Aleksandr Yefimov informed. The decision was formalized during the sixth meeting of the Belarus-China intergovernmental cooperation committee, BelTA learned from the press service of the Industry Ministry.

The industrial cooperation commission will operate as part of the Belarus-China intergovernmental cooperation committee. It was set up to implement the comprehensive strategy for joint industrial development signed on 1 March 2023 during the official visit of President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko to China.

“Belarus and China have set up the industrial commission to strengthen strategic partnership and expand economic contacts. This important decision is part of our efforts to promote bilateral cooperation. It will facilitate the implementation of joint projects in manufacturing, technology and innovation,” Aleksandr Yefimov remarked.
