Belarus-Latvia cooperation in 2012 hailed as successful

       Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Yelena Kupchina met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary  of Latvia to Belarus Mikhail Popkovs, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus reports.
       The parties reviewed Belarus-Latvia cooperation across various fields in 2012 and praised the efforts to promote political and economic ties. 
       Yelena Kupchina and Mikhail Popkovs confirmed the mutual interest in expanding the bilateral contacts throughout 2013 and agreed upon the joint short-term plans of the two diplomatic missions. They also communicated views on the format of individual cultural events scheduled for February 2013.
