Belarus assists 2013-2014 international rail timetable development

      A delegation of the Belarusian Railways is taking part in an international coordination conference of plenipotentiary representatives of the railway administrations and passenger forwarders of Europe which is held as part of the 2013-2014 international rail timetable development.
      The conference is held in Saint Petersburg on 14-18 January. Partaking in it are representatives of more than 30 countries. The conference will comprise several meetings to discuss the issues related to the international trains plying from Russia to Europe, including across Belarus.
      The Belarusian delegation plans to hold talks with representatives of the rail administrations of Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia to discuss the details of transporting passengers from Europe to Belarus and back during the 2014 IIHF World Championship.
      Apart from this, the Belarusian delegation will take part in a roundtable to talk over the prospects of developing passenger traffic in Europe
