EBRD delegation visiting Belarus

        A delegation of the Board of Directors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is visiting Belarus on 22-26 September, we learnt from the EBRD Office in Belarus.
       The five-day visit will include trips to Minsk, Smorgon, Fanipol, Baranovichi. The EBRD Board of Directros will hold a number of meetings with representatives of the state and local authorities, foreign and local investors, NGOs to discuss the political and economic development of Belarus.
        The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development is a big investor in Belarus. As of 1 September 2014, the bank allocated over €1.5 billion for 66 projects. Of them €883 million were invested over the last five years.
