The goalkeeper of the Belarus national ice hockey team, and HC Dinamo Minsk Kevin Lalande signed with HC CSKA Moscow.
The Moscow hockey club terminated the contract with the goalkeeper Jeff Glass, which was to be in force until 30 April 2015, and signed a one-year contract with Kevin Lalande. Playing for HC Dinamo Minsk last season Kevin Lalande played 25 matches in the KHL, with the save percentage of 90.5%. Kevin Lalande played for HC Dinamo Minsk in the season 2011/12. During this time he received the Belarusian citizenship and went through the necessary "quarantine" to play for the national team. He debuted at the IIHF World Championship 2014 in Minsk and played five games for Team Belarus. He posted the best save percentage of 96.36% at the preliminary round having allowed two goals on 55 shots in four games of the tournament.
In Moscow's CSKA Kevin Lalande will join up with the former Dinamo Minsk forward Andrei Stas, who signed with CSKA in early June.
