BSC Minsk has secured its second victory in the first leg of the 2026 Euro Winners Cup in Nazaré, Portugal, BelTA has learned.
In today's second-round match of the preliminary Group H, the Minsk team crushed BSC Hobby from Finland 14-3. On the Belarusian side, Anatoliy Ryabko and Ihar Bryshtselscored four goals each, Gavriil Gavrilov and Mikita Chaikouski each netted twice, and Yauheni Novikau and Aleh Hapon scored one goal each. In their opening match, the champions of Belarus narrowly defeated Beach Royals Düsseldorf 4-3. The goals for the Belarusians were scored by Anatoliy Ryabko, Ivan Kanstantsinau, Yauheni Novikau, and Egor Remizov. On the final day of the first stage fixures, 9 June, BSC Minsk will face France's Montpellier that saw away the Finnish team in the first round (8-2). After the group stage, the winners of the nine groups will advance directly to the Round of 16, along with the five best second-placed teams. The remaining four second-place teams will compete in a playoff format for the two remaining spots in the top 16.
The head coach of BSC Minsk Dmitry Kamzolov noted that the team's task is to perform well in the group stage and advance to the next round of the competition.
