Union State MPs to discuss implementation of security programs

A videoconference session of the Security and Defense Commission of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State of Belarus and Russia will take place in Minsk and Moscow on 26 February, the assembly’s press service told BelTA.
 
Participants of the session will look into preliminary results of executing the Union State budget for 2025 in terms of funding the Union State programs "Improvement of military infrastructure facilities planned for joint use in the interests of enabling the regional military force of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation“ and ”Modernization of logistical support facilities planned for joint use in the interests of enabling the regional military force of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation,” the press service noted.
 
The agenda of the session also includes discussion about preliminary results of executing the Union State budget for 2025 in terms of financing the Union State program “Improvement of the Union State’s information resources protection system in modern conditions” (Priority) for 2024-2028.
 
Representatives of the Standing Committee of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, the defense ministries of Belarus and Russia, the Operations and Analysis Center under the President of the Republic of Belarus, and the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control of the Russian Federation have been invited to participate in the event.
