The Lithuanian resort city Druskininkai is hosting an exhibition of photos from the funds of the Yakub Kolas State Literature and Memorial Museum of Belarus. The major goal of the expo, organized on the initiative of the Belarusian cultural society Spadchyna, is to narrate about the life and work of outstanding Belarusian poet Yakub Kolas who lived in Vilnius, Lithuania, in 1907-1908 and worked with the Nasha Niva editorial board. The mobile expo was placed at the school of the Belarus Sanatorium in January. On 10 February it moved to the hotel of the sanatorium. On 1-28 March the exhibition will be available at the Central Library of Druskininkai.
The organization of the exhibition was largely assisted by Director of the Yakub Kolas State Literature and Memorial Museum Zinaida Komarovskaya, the Belarusian embassy in Lithuania, the administration of the Belarus Sanatorium and supported by the Central Library of Druskininkai.
