Construction of Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park should start in 2014


       Construction works at the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park should be launched in 2014, Belarusian Prime Minister Mikhail Myasnikovich said as he met with representatives of the Chinese engineering company CAMCE.
     According to the Premier, a great amount of work has already been done: a general plan and a detailed project plan of the first phase of the construction have been drafted; the design of engineering and transport infrastructure of the starting point is nearing completion. Mikhail Myasnikovich emphasized that the construction works should be launched as early as this year, simultaneously with the design works.
     The Chinese partners praised the joint efforts to construct the park. According to the representatives of the Chinese corporation, despite all the difficulties, the project will be successfully implemented and will become a showpiece of the Belarus-China cooperation.
     At the meeting the parties discussed in detail the financial aspects of the construction project, ways to attract resident companies and create high-tech innovative facilities. The Premier voiced the common view that the industrial park should be built fast and well.
