An exhibition of Belarusian artist Irina Kotova is taking place in the French town of Lapugnoy

An exhibition of Belarusian artist Irina Kotova is taking place in the French town of Lapugnoy, in northern France in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region.
The exhibition features 34 works of the artist created during her stay and study in France and called "Imaginary Paris". The works are filled with a sense of artistic reflection on the harmonious combination of the world. The artist conveyed the atmosphere of the Parisian streets, capturing the transience of reality in the form of images of landscape and thus erasing the line between the real and the imaginary Paris.
Irina Kotova studied at the Belarusian State Academy of Arts in Minsk, and then in France as part of a study on the topic "The Belarusian artists in France from the nineteenth century to the present day."
According to Mayor of Lapugnoy Alain Delannoy, the exhibition has aroused great interest in art admirers. It is organized in one of the City Halls. Local residents eagerly come to look at pictures of the Belarusian painter.
