Economic growth has accelerated in Belarus, BelTA learned from the weekly macroeconomic review by the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB).
“Economic growth has accelerated in Belarus. In January-June 2026, GDP increased by 1.5%. Domestic demand is supporting economic activity. The growth of retail trade reached 7.6% after 7.1% in January-May 2026,” the EDB noted.
Fixed capital investment increased by 4.1%. The recovery of investment activity was supported by the return of capital construction to positive dynamics, analysts added.
