Belarus, Egypt review schedule of upcoming visits

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt Yevgeny Sobolevsky met with Egypt’s Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan El-Khatib, BelTA lkearned from the Belarusian foreign mission in Egypt.

The parties reviewed the state of Belarus-Egypt relations, including the schedule of visits to Belarus at the highest and high levels, as well as meetings of institutional bodies of bilateral cooperation.

In order to intensify Belarus-Egypt trade, special attention was paid to establishing direct interbank cooperation and avoiding protective measures in bilateral trade.

Following the meeting, agreements were reached on holding interbank consultations and preparing for the 8th session of the Belarus-Egypt joint trade commission.
