A Belarusian parliamentary delegation, led by Chairwoman of the Council of the Republic Natalya Kochanova, has arrived in Dushanbe, Tajikistan to participate in events of the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly (IPA), BelTA has learned.
Dushanbe is preparing to host a significant parliamentary event that will strengthen the bridges of friendship between the countries and peoples of the CIS.
A busy program is scheduled for 13-14 November, including a series of meetings and participation in a session of the CIS IPA Council.
The 59th plenary session of the CIS IPA will be held on 14 November. Also on the agenda is a wreath-laying ceremony at the Monument to Ismail Samani, located within the National Unity and Revival of Tajikistan memorial complex on Dusti Square in the center of Dushanbe.
