Viktor Denisenko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Tajikistan, delivered a report at a round table titled “Outcomes of the Tianjin Summit: SCO as a Platform for Common Development and Global Governance” on 22 October, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Tajikistan.
The event was attended by heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Dushanbe, and SCO Secretary-General Nurlan Yermekbayev joined via a video link. Addressing the round table participants, the Belarusian ambassador noted that amid the transformation of the global world order, the activities of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) are gaining particular importance and relevance. He briefed the participants in detail on the main principles and areas of joint work within the SCO to create conditions for further mutual development and global governance.
The Belarusian ambassador congratulated Kyrgyzstan on assuming the SCO chairmanship and expressed confidence in the organization's continued successful development.
