Finance minister: Loan refinancing supports Belarus’ financial system

Refinancing of loans will support our financial system, Belarusian Finance Minister Yuri Seliverstov said in an interview to Belarus 1 TV channel as he comments on some of the outcomes of Belarusian Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin’s visit to Russia.

“There are still a lot of issues that we need to address, as this agenda is not the easiest one. As for separate agreements, we have agreed to refinance the loans of the Russian government, which had been provided to the Finance Ministry. This will support our financial system, the balance of payments, but we will continue working in this direction,” the finance minister said.
