70 concerts to be held at this year’s Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk

70 concerts will be held at this year’s Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk International Festival of Arts. The festival is to start in 2 weeks. Belteleradiocompany held a large preparation work and its journalists will be covering the festival. According to Alexander Sidorenko, director of Slavianski Bazaar, almost all preparations are over and not only in Vitebsk, but nationwide. 

Performers from 30 countries will come for this year’s contest. According to Svetlana Avdeeva, head of the department of international cooperation at Slavonic Bazaar in Vitebsk, on the first days of the contest the audience will hear songs in Slavonic languages, and the contestants will be accompanied by the famous Mikhail Finberg Orchestra.

The junior contest will feature 21 performers. The jury will be headed by Kim Breitburg.
