Über 600 Aussteller aus 26 Staaten werden an der 21. Internationalen Buchmesse Minsk teilnehmen. Das landesweit größte Buchforum findet am 5./9. Februar im Ausstellungszentrum BelExpo statt, erzählte Vizeinformationsministerin Lilija Ananitsch.
In diesem Jahr haben die Organisatoren kein Land als Ehrengast eingeladen, sondern auf innere Ressourcen gesetzt. Belarus solle eigene Errungenschaften der Buchindustrie präsentieren und anderen Staaten gleiche Präsentationsmöglichkeiten gewähren. „Wir möchten, dass sich jedes Land während des Forums als ein Ehrengast fühlt. Jeder Teilnehmerstaat hat ein sehr würdiges Programm vorbereitet, deshalb konnten wir uns für keinen bestimmten entscheiden“, sagte Ananitsch.
Die 22. Internationale Buchmesse Minsk präsentiert Projekte zahlreicher Verleger und Verlagshäuser. Eine Eishockey-Enzyklopädie erzählt über die Geschichte des belarussischen Eishockeys. Viele Bücher, Fotoalben, Jubiläumsausgaben widmen sich dem 70. Jahrestag der Befreiung der Republik Belarus von der deutschen Wehrmacht 1945. Zum Jahr der Gastfreundschaft haben viele Buchverlage interessante Reiseführer und Bücher über belarussische Landwirtschaften, Städte und Kultur vorbereitet.
Das Programm umfasst mehrere Autorentreffen, Buchpräsentationen, Lesungen, Autogrammstunden. Das Informationsministerium koordiniert das Projekt.
