Im Mittelpunkt des Gesprächs zwischen Alexander Lukaschenko und Oleg Koshemjako standen nicht nur Fragen der strategischen Zusammenarbeit, sondern auch aktuelle Probleme taktischen Charakters. „Dass die Region Amur immer noch mit Folgen des Hochwasser-Desasters von Vorjahr zu kämpfen hat, ist kein Geheimnis. Ich habe der Regierung eine klare Anweisung gegeben, schnell mit Hilfe- und Gütertransporten zu reagieren, soll irgendwo in Russland eine Naturkatastrophe das Leben einer Region lahmlegen. Mag sein, dass wegen zu großen Entfernungen zwischen Belarus und Amur im Fernen Osten nicht alles getan wurde, was wir planten. Wenn heute etwas noch zu korrigieren ist, ist Belarus bereit, dies zu tun. Wir könnten unter Absprache mit Ihnen im Frühjahr oder Sommer neue Hilfstransporte organisieren“, versprach der belarussische Staatschef.
Der russische Gouverneur bedankte sich beim belarussischen Präsidenten für die Unterstützung, die das belarussische Volk den vom Hochwasser betroffenen Einwohnern der fernöstlichen Region erwiesen hat.
