Belarus und China wollen die Eisenbahn-Logistik zusammen entwickeln. Das teilte ein Pressesprecher der Belarussischen Bahn im Anschluss an die Gespräche mit der Leitung der chinesischen Eisenbahn in Peking mit.
Bahn-Chef Waleri Werenitsch und der Vorstandvorsitzende der chinesischen Eisenbahn Guo Zhushu erörterten die aktuellen Fragen und die bilateralen Beziehungen sowie das Zusammenwirken der beiden Unternehmen in internationalen Organisationen. Die Parteien haben sich auch auf die Umsetzung gemeinsamer Projekte geeinigt und ein hohes Maß an gegenseitig vorteilhafter Zusammenarbeit bekundet, was die Steigerung der Containertransporte zwischen China und EU sowie Importe/Exporte zwischen China und Belarus betrifft.
Der Chef der belarussischen Eisenbahn wies darauf hin, dass Belarus nicht nur ein Transitland ist, sondern auch ein wichtiger Handels- und Logistikpartner Chinas. „Die Freundschaft, die unsere Staatschefs pflegen, verleiht den belarussisch-chinesischen Transporten zusätzliche Impulse“, betonte Waleri Werenitsch. Er dankte Guo Zhushu für die Entwicklung der Zusammenarbeit und äußerte sein Vertrauen in die erfolgreiche Umsetzung der geplanten Pojekte.
Im Anschluss an die Gespräche wurde eine Vereinbarung zwischen der Belarussischen Bahn und der Chinesischen Eisenbahn unterzeichnet. Das Dokument spiegelt den Wunsch der Parteien wider, eine neue Ebene der Partnerschaften zu erreichen, die Logistik des Eisenbahnverkehrs auf internationalen Transportkorridoren gemeinsam aufzubauen, die praktische Zusammenarbeit zu vertiefen und zu entwickeln, und die dynamische Entwicklung von Containerzügen zu fördern.
