Беларусь благодаря вступлению в Шанхайскую организацию сотрудничества получит новые возможности для укрепления международных торгово-экономических и инвестиционных контактов, в том числе для развития сотрудничества на площадке китайско-белорусской особой экономической зоны "Великий камень". Об этом ТАСС заявил заместитель директора Института экономики и делового администрирования при Педагогическом университете Центрального Китая Чжоу Вэйди.
"Укрепление контактов на площадке ШОС в перспективе позволит Беларуси привлечь больше российских и китайских инвестиций. Их объем будет зависеть от многих факторов, включая ресурсную и стратегическую составляющие сотрудничества, осуществляемого в парке "Великий камень", - сказал он.
Китайский эксперт напомнил, что ШОС географически охватывает огромное пространство и располагает богатыми человеческими ресурсами. "Беларусь сделала правильный и мудрый выбор, поскольку, обладая статусом официального члена объединения, благодаря ШОС она получает возможность расширить сферу своего влияния", - отметил эксперт.
Чжоу Вэйди убежден, что участие Минска приведет к укреплению экономических контактов между странами - участницами объединения, будет способствовать развитию их торгово-инвестиционного взаимодействия и выгодно отразится на белорусско-российских связях.
"У каждого государства имеются собственные сравнительные преимущества, а вступление Беларуси в ШОС позволит использовать их более эффективно. Чтобы "Великий камень" успешно развивался, Беларуси предстоит ориентироваться на высокий уровень международного сотрудничества, проводить целенаправленную политику по усилению открытости. Для этого необходимо изучать опыт других стран, в том числе России", - подчеркнул он.
Эксперт отметил, что на развитие "Великого камня" негативное воздействие оказала пандемия, а также западные санкции, однако этот проект по-прежнему привлекателен для инвестиций не только из КНР и России, но и из западноевропейских стран. "Эта промышленная площадка будет иметь большое значение и для развития Евразийского экономического союза", - сказал он.
Как уточнил Чжоу Вэйди, Беларусь занимает важное место на пространстве, где реализуются проекты инициативы "Пояс и путь". "У этой страны относительно небольшая территория, сравнительно немногочисленное население и нет выхода к морю, однако она занимает очень важное географическое положение. Это связующее звено, которое будет иметь ключевое значение для развития торгово-экономических отношений между Россией, Китаем, Восточной и Западной Европой", - заявил эксперт

I recently learned my surname is not Polish, but Belarusian. I heard you on shortwave in the past and am so happy to listen online in English.
