Депутата Палаты представителей Дениса Карася польская сторона не допустила к участию в международном наблюдении за парламентскими выборами в Польше, сообщает корреспондент БЕЛТА.
"Республика Польша официально пригласила Организацию по безопасности и сотрудничеству в Европе, ее государства-участники и структуры, включая Парламентскую ассамблею, принять участие в международном наблюдении за предстоящими парламентскими выборами у себя в стране. Республика Беларусь откликнулась на это предложение. В соответствии с решением руководства Палаты представителей моя кандидатура как члена национальной делегации Беларуси в ПА ОБСЕ была в установленном порядке и в соответствии со всеми требованиями подана в Парламентскую ассамблею ОБСЕ, - сказал Денис Карась. - ПА ОБСЕ сформировала свою наблюдательную миссию на предстоящие выборы, в которую меня включили официально. Мои данные были своевременно переданы в Центральную избирательную комиссию Польши для аккредитации в качестве международного наблюдателя по линии ПА ОБСЕ".
Ожидалось, что белорусский парламентарий будет осуществлять наблюдение в Варшаве. "Разумеется, любая страна вправе закрыть въезд на территорию иностранным гражданам. Мы этого права не оспариваем. Однако до момента пересечения границы 12 октября ни от польской стороны, ни от международного секретариата ПА ОБСЕ мы не получали каких-либо сигналов о том, что моя кандидатура в качестве наблюдателя не приемлема для польских властей. Именно из этого и исходил парламент Беларуси, направляя меня в командировку, - уточнил парламентарий. - Невзирая на непростую ситуацию в отношениях между Беларусью и Польшей, статус государства-участника ОБСЕ и сам факт направления приглашения на выборы обязывает Варшаву исполнять существующие нормы права и организовать доступ международных наблюдателей на выборы".
Беларусь идет с миром, мы не заинтересованы в эскалации отношений с соседями, отметил депутат. "Об этом неоднократно говорил наш глава государства. Соседи от Бога, их не выбирают, мы заинтересованы в поиске путей нормализации отношений. Беларусь протянула руку дружбы, но, к сожалению, наши соседи этой возможностью в очередной раз не воспользовались. Мы вновь убедились, что Польша отгораживается стеной не только от мигрантов. Воздвигается железный занавес в целом от белорусов, включая белорусских парламентариев. А ведь диалог по парламентской линии мог бы стать реальной ступенькой на пути к восстановлению во многом утраченного взаимного доверия. В этой связи мы крайне разочарованы решением польских властей под надуманным предлогом закрыть въезд в Польшу белорусскому наблюдателю на парламентские выборы в Польше в составе миссии наблюдателей от ПА ОБСЕ, - дополнил депутат. - Мы оцениваем это решение как очередной недружественный шаг, откровенный произвол и проявление дискриминации в отношении международных наблюдателей. Мотивы, которыми руководствовались польские власти при принятии этого откровенно недружественного решения, нам непонятны. В любом случае оно подрывает доверие к избирательному процессу в Польше, вызывает сомнения в честности и прозрачности выборов".
"В целом, на мой взгляд, подобные действия подрывают всякое доверие к самой идее инклюзивного наблюдения за выборами под эгидой ОБСЕ. Грош цена такому наблюдению, когда представители соседних стран при молчаливом потакании ассамблеи исключаются из этого процесса", - дополнил Денис Карась.

I recently learned my surname is not Polish, but Belarusian. I heard you on shortwave in the past and am so happy to listen online in English. We hear nothing about Belarus here in the US so I am so glad to learn about your country. Keep on broadcasting in English. I also joined the Hoererklub on Facebook as I can understand German.
