Странам Содружества как никогда важно сосредоточить совместные усилия на противодействии попыткам переписывания истории и оправдания преступлений нацизма, заявил генеральный секретарь СНГ Сергей Лебедев в своем приветствии участникам и гостям II Санкт-Петербургского Международного исторического форума "Битва за Ленинград - всенародная победа", который проходит 21-23 сентября в Таврическом дворце в Санкт-Петербурге. Об этом сообщили в пресс-службе Исполнительного комитета СНГ.
В приветствии отмечено, что сегодня как никогда важно сосредоточить совместные усилия на противодействии попыткам переписывания истории и оправдания преступлений нацизма, на сохранении военно-мемориального наследия народов государств - участников СНГ и формировании чувства гордости за нашу Великую Победу, патриотизма и героических традиций у послевоенных поколений.
"Именно поэтому в последние годы на уровне высших органов СНГ принят ряд важных документов, направленных на пресечение попыток фальсификации истории и искажения нравственных и правовых оценок итогов Великой Отечественной войны, на сохранение памятников, посвященных нашей Победе, воинских захоронений на территориях стран Содружества", - сказано в приветствии.
К ним в первую очередь можно отнести заявление глав государств в связи с 80-летием начала Второй мировой войны, обращение глав государств к народам государств - участников Содружества и мировой общественности в связи с 80-летием начала Великой Отечественной войны 1941-1945 годов, обращение министров иностранных дел о необходимости сохранения и надлежащего ухода за воинскими захоронениями и воинскими памятниками Великой Отечественной войны 1941-1945 годов, заявление глав государств по случаю 70-летия завершения работы Нюрнбергского трибунала.
Сергей Лебедев напомнил, что в рамках Содружества создана и осуществляет активную деятельность Международная ассоциация (комиссия) историков и архивистов, одной из важных задач которой является содействие распространению объективной информации о событиях Второй мировой и Великой Отечественной войн.
Решением Совета глав государств СНГ 2025 год в Содружестве объявлен Годом 80-летия Победы в Великой Отечественной войне - Годом Мира и Единства в борьбе с нацизмом. В настоящее время разрабатывается проект плана по подготовке и празднованию этой знаменательной даты.
Кроме того, в рамках реализации плана приоритетных мероприятий в сфере гуманитарного сотрудничества на 2023-2024 годы ежегодно проходят многочисленные мероприятия, посвященные Победе в Великой Отечественной войне.
"Убежден, что сохранение исторической правды, объективной информации о Великой Отечественной войне, а также защитниках блокадного Ленинграда - это не только необходимое условие укрепления тесных уз, издавна существующих между странами Содружества, но и залог прочности интеграционного взаимодействия на перспективу", - подчеркнул генеральный секретарь СНГ.

I recently learned my surname is not Polish, but Belarusian. I heard you on shortwave in the past and am so happy to listen online in English. We hear nothing about Belarus here in the US so I am so glad to learn about your country. Keep on broadcasting in English. I also joined the Hoererklub on Facebook as I can understand German.
