Санкции являются серьезным вызовом на пути достижения Целей устойчивого развития. Это подчеркнул заместитель министра иностранных дел Беларуси Юрий Амбразевич на встрече с региональным директором по Европе и Центральной Азии Управления ООН по координации деятельности в целях развития Гви Йоп Сон, сообщили пресс-службе МИД.
Представитель ООН высоко оценила эффективную организацию работы на национальном уровне по достижению Целей устойчивого развития. По словам Гви Йоп Сон, опыт Беларуси в этом вопросе может служить примером для многих других государств - членов ООН. Юрий Амбразевич в свою очередь отметил важность продолжения тесных партнерских отношений Беларуси со всеми агентствами ООН для совершенствования национальной системы развития, международного технического сотрудничества и реализации глобальных инициатив. Замминистра подчеркнул приверженность Беларуси реализации Повестки дня в области устойчивого развития на период до 2030 года, что подтверждают высокие страновые рейтинги по достижению ЦУР.
"Одновременно Юрий Амбразевич обратил внимание на один из серьезных вызовов на пути достижения Целей устойчивого развития, которым являются односторонние принудительные меры, или санкции, вводимые странами Запада против неугодных им государств, включая Беларусь. Отмечено, что проведение саммита ООН по Целям устойчивого развития, запланированного на сентябрь 2023 года на полях Генеральной ассамблеи, должно стать площадкой для честного обсуждения проблем негативного воздействия санкций на перспективы глобального социально-экономического и экологического развития", - сообщили в пресс-службе МИД.
Как сообщалось, генеральный секретарь ООН Антониу Гутерриш пригласил Президента Беларуси Александра Лукашенко принять участие в саммите по Целям устойчивого развития. Александр Лукашенко направил Антониу Гутерришу ответное письмо: "Минск в полной мере приветствует эту инициативу. Считаем, что предстоящее мероприятие - хорошая возможность подвести промежуточные итоги наших общих усилий. Республика Беларусь всецело привержена достижению Целей устойчивого развития, они эффективно интегрированы в наши национальные стратегические документы".
Глава государства также подчеркнул важность того, чтобы саммит стал источником идей и инициатив, способствующих устранению проблем на пути достижения ЦУР: "Вы совершенно верно отметили, что "многочисленные кризисы последних трех лет нанесли серьезный удар по усилиям, направленным на выполнение Повестки-2030". Сегодня совершенно очевидно, что без мира не может быть устойчивого развития на планете. Я произнес эти слова еще в 2015 году, выступая на Саммите ООН, на котором были приняты Цели устойчивого развития. Вами также неоднократно озвучивалась схожая мысль".

I recently learned my surname is not Polish, but Belarusian. I heard you on shortwave in the past and am so happy to listen online in English. We hear nothing about Belarus here in the US so I am so glad to learn about your country. Keep on broadcasting in English. I also joined the Hoererklub on Facebook as I can understand German.
