Никто из задержанных в Польше белорусов не имеет отношения к спецслужбам. Об этом заявил журналистам председатель Комитета государственной безопасности Иван Тертель, передает корреспондент БЕЛТА.
Глава КГБ пояснил, что все происходящие сегодня в Польше события необходимо оценивать через призму парламентских выборов, запланированных на эту осень.
"Ситуация на самом деле там в стране очень и очень непростая, поэтому ищутся любые поводы, чтобы укрепить имидж действующей власти на фоне экономических проблем. Действительно, польская сторона заявила о задержании большого количества граждан, в том числе Республики Беларусь, которые якобы причастны к деятельности Комитета госбезопасности. Смею вас заверить, что это на самом деле не соответствует действительности. Никто из задержанных на территории Польши не имеет отношения к деятельности белорусских спецслужб. Сам лично проверял, готов за это ручаться и нести ответственность", - сказал Иван Тертель.
Вместе с тем он отметил, что в отношении Беларуси была активизирована разведывательно-подрывная деятельность. "Приоткрою вам секрет: нами задержано некоторое количество граждан Польши при совершении активных операций по агентурной связи на нашей территории. Задержаны предатели, с которыми они работали на нашей территории. Конечно, польская сторона любыми способами хочет добиться обмена на кого-либо из этих своих граждан. Однако никто из задержанных ими лиц задач спецслужб Республики Беларусь не выполняет", - еще раз подчеркнул председатель КГБ.
Как сообщалось ранее, в Польше по подозрению в шпионаже были задержаны девять человек, включая троих граждан Беларуси. В польских СМИ это событие преподносилось как пресечение деятельности "шпионской сети", работавшей на спецслужбы России. Утверждалось, что они не только снимали на видео передвигающиеся железнодорожные составы, но и устанавливали скрытые камеры, передающие картинку в режиме реального времени.
Белорусская сторона заявила, что задержанные белорусы не имеют никакого отношения к спецслужбам. Более того, одна из назначенных польскими спецслужбами на роль шпионки девушка недавно отметила совершеннолетие, училась в Польше. Ее парень - белорус - также задержан.
Президент Беларуси Александр Лукашенко, комментируя по просьбе журналистов ситуацию, заявил 22 марта: "Они (на Западе. - Прим. БЕЛТА) уже ответить ничем не могут. Знаете, арестовали там украинцев и белорусов: "О чудеса! На Россию работали". Украинцы, белорусы и прочие. Но никто ничего не доказывает, никто ничего не показывает, что ж это за люди, которые работали на Россию. Шпионами объявили. Все просто: хотят обменять. Хватают людей, чтобы предложить России или Беларуси обмен на кого-то. Уже предлагали".
