Министерство иностранных дел Беларуси заявило об угрозе европейской безопасности от развертывания новых сил НАТО и дальнейшего расширения альянса. Об этом говорится в публикации белорусского внешнеполитического ведомства в Twitter в ответ на пост Верховного представителя ЕС по иностранным делам и политике безопасности Жозепа Борреля насчет планов по размещению российского ядерного вооружения.
"Развертывание свежих сил НАТО у границ Беларуси и дальнейшее расширение альянса в Северной Европе являются безответственной эскалацией и ключевыми факторами, угрожающими европейской безопасности", - говорится в публикации МИД.
Ранее в МИД обратили внимание, что в течение последних двух с половиной лет Беларусь подвергается беспрецедентному политическому, экономическому и информационному давлению со стороны США, Великобритании и их союзников по НАТО, а также государств Европейского союза. Это прямое и грубое вмешательство во внутренние дела независимого государства, нацеленное на смену геополитического курса и изменение внутриполитического строя Беларуси, прямо противоречит обязательствам, взятым на себя отдельными подписантами Меморандума о гарантиях безопасности в связи с присоединением Республики Беларусь к Договору о нераспространении ядерного оружия (ДНЯО). Причем односторонние принудительные меры в политике и экономике сопровождаются наращиванием на территории соседних стран - членов НАТО военного потенциала в непосредственной близости у белорусских границ.
"Учитывая указанные обстоятельства и вытекающие из них законные озабоченности и риски в сфере национальной безопасности, Беларусь предпринимает вынужденные ответные действия по укреплению собственной безопасности и обороноспособности. Военное сотрудничество Беларуси и России осуществляется в строгом соответствии с международным правом. Обучение белорусских пилотов, способных управлять самолетами со специфическими боеприпасами, модернизация таких самолетов, равно как и размещение ядерных боезарядов на территории Беларуси без передачи Минску контроля за ними, а также доступа к соответствующим технологиям, никоим образом не противоречат положениям статей I и II ДНЯО", - заявили в МИД.
Стоит отметить, что это не является новшеством в сфере военного сотрудничества неядерной и ядерной держав. Так, в НАТО давно существует практика "совместных ядерных миссий", самолеты стран - членов альянса сертифицированы для полетов с ядерным оружием, идет подготовка летного состава для таких "миссий", проводятся соответствующие учения. На территории европейских стран НАТО хранятся свыше 150 единиц тактического ядерного оружия США, подготовлено более 250 самолетов для их возможного применения.

I recently learned my surname is not Polish, but Belarusian. I heard you on shortwave in the past and am so happy to listen online in English. We hear nothing about Belarus here in the US so I am so glad to learn about your country. Keep on broadcasting in English. I also joined the Hoererklub on Facebook as I can understand German.
