Prezydent Alaksandr Łukaszenka złożył życzenia narodowi polskiemu z okazji święta narodowego – Dnia Niepodległości.
„W obecnych bardzo trudnych i sprzecznych czasach szczególnie zrozumiałym jest fakt, jak ważne jest zachowanie samodzielności i niepodległości swojego kraju, zachowanie pokoju, wzmocnienie wartości chrześcijańskich i wzajemnej otwartości”, - napisano w winszowaniu.
Białoruski szef państwa podkreślił, że Białoruś dąży do harmonijnego rozwoju więzi dwustronnych i wykazuje chęć budowania mostów przyjaźni, a nie murów granicznych z drutu kolczastego. "Nasza geograficzna bliskość nie może i nie powinna zamienić się w narzędzie szantażu czy gróźb" - przekonuje białoruski przywódca.
Przez Alaksandra Łukaszenkę zostało podkreślone, że Białoruś dąży do harmonijnego rozwoju dwustronnych stosunków, demonstruje gotowość do budowania mostów przyjaźni. Według niego Białoruś w 2022 roku wprowadziła reżim bezwizowy dla obywateli Polski, nadając w ten sposób dobrosąsiedztwu jakościowo nową wartość.
„Niestety, za błędy, popełnione przez polskich polityków, teraz powinni płacić zwykli obywatele waszego kraju. Sztucznie stworzone fałszywe wizerunki wrogów w postaci Białorusi i Rosji, doprowadziły do pogorszenia poziomu życia wszystkich Europejczyków, złamały zaufanie w stosunkach międzynarodowych i sprawiły cierpienia milionom ludzi”, - stwierdził Alaksandr Łukszenka, wyrażając nadzieję, że ludzie, mieszkający za Bugiem, to rozumieją i uczynią prawidłowy wybór podczas przyszłej kampanii politycznej.
"Chciałbym przy tej okazji jeszcze raz podkreślić: żadne zagrożenie nigdy nie pochodziło od Białorusinów, którzy są duchowo i kulturowo bardzo blisko was. Jak słusznie zauważył polski klasyk, Białoruś nigdy nikogo nie okradła ani nie zabiła, traktowała gości z szacunkiem, była gotowa podzielić się nawet ostatnią skórką żytniego chleba. Te słowa są aktualne do dziś" - powiedział prezydent.
Również została wyrażona nadzieja na to, że otwarta pozycja Białorusinów, nastawiona na nawiązanie konstruktywnych stosunków z Polakami na zasadach partnerstwa, zaufania i wzajemnej powagi, w najbliższym czasie spotka wzajemną pozytywną odpowiedź.
Prezydent życzył wszystkim obywatelom Polski pokojowego nieba, solidarności i niezależnego wyboru losu i przyszłości.

I recently learned my surname is not Polish, but Belarusian. I heard you on shortwave in the past and am so happy to listen online in English.
