白俄罗斯驻中华人民共和国特命全权大使尤里·森科向记者介绍了白俄罗斯加入上海合作组织后其在组织中的作用将发生怎样的变化。
大使回顾说，白俄罗斯加入上合组织的道路始于 2010 年，当时是该组织的合作伙伴，然后在 2015 年成为观察员。他解释说：“从我们参与这一进程到现在已经过去了 12 年，我们参加了所有的活动。今天我们宣布做好了充分准备，希望成为上合组织的正式成员。所有上合组织成员国专家级别的都支持白俄罗斯加入上合组织的想法。今年 9 月在撒马尔罕，我们将见证启动整个加入组织程序的决定”。
据他介绍，加入上合组织将使白俄罗斯能够充分发挥作用，并且参加这个国际组织的所有项目。尤里·森科强调说：“我相信，正如我们的总统所说，我们不会成为替补球员，而是真正的球员，我们将在各方面充分发挥作用，也将给上合组织带来些新的东西和我们的想法”。

I recently learned my surname is not Polish, but Belarusian. I heard you on shortwave in the past and am so happy to listen online in English. We hear nothing about Belarus here in the US so I am so glad to learn about your country. Keep on broadcasting in English. I also joined the Hoererklub on Facebook as I can understand German.
