В Украине находятся несколько тысяч граждан Беларуси, идет эвакуация. Границу уже пересекли более 50 человек. Об этом заявил журналистам пресс-секретарь МИД Беларуси Анатолий Глаз.
За помощью к дипломатам обратились около 1 тыс. граждан.
"Ситуация в Украине в настоящее время остается напряженной и очень стремительно развивается. В этих условиях белорусской стороной предпринимаются максимально возможные усилия для оказания содействия нашим соотечественникам, которые в настоящее время находятся на территории данного государства. По нашим предварительным оценкам, которые мы сделали за сегодняшний день, речь идет о нескольких тысячах человек. Посольство Беларуси в Киеве и Главное консульское управление МИД переведены на круглосуточный режим работы. Открыты телефоны горячей линии, которые мы публикуем в социальных сетях Министерства иностранных дел, посольства Беларуси в Украине, а также на сайте МИД", - отметил Анатолий Глаз.
По его словам, в настоящий момент граждане эвакуируются через пункты пропуска на белорусско-украинской границе "Новая Рудня" и "Новая Гута", а также через территорию сопредельной Украине Молдовы. По имеющейся информации, границу к настоящему моменту по указанным маршрутам пересекли более 50 человек.
"При этом еще раз обращаем внимание, что ситуация стремительно и динамично меняется. Необходимо внимательно следить за обновлением информации на ресурсах МИД, в том числе в социальных сетях и на сайте посольства Беларуси в Украине", - отметил пресс-секретарь.
Он также сообщил, что к настоящему моменту за помощью к белорусским дипломатам обратились порядка 1 тыс. граждан. "Просьба с пониманием относиться к возможным задержкам и ожиданию, потому что человеческий ресурс нашего загранучреждения ограничен, но посильное содействие мы постараемся оказать всем обратившимся гражданам без исключения", - сказал Анатолий Глаз.
Он еще раз призвал белорусских граждан прислушаться к рекомендациям МИД и отменить все поездки в Украину до стабилизации обстановки. Так, в течение дня после распространения соответствующих рекомендаций зафиксировано порядка 10 попыток въехать в Украину со стороны Беларуси, в том числе по причинам командировок.
Кроме того, пресс-секретарь отметил, что на дорогах Украины фиксируются факты грабежей и мародерства. В связи с этим белорусских граждан призывают быть максимально бдительными, не останавливаться без экстренной необходимости и не съезжать с основных автомагистралей, а также следовать установленным мерам безопасности и прислушиваться к рекомендациям местных властей по данному вопросу.
Как сообщалось БЕЛТА, ранее в связи с развитием ситуации в Украине Министерство иностранных дел Беларуси настоятельно рекомендовало белорусским гражданам отменить планы посещения этой страны до стабилизации обстановки. А гражданам Беларуси, находящимся в Украине, настоятельно рекомендовали покинуть территорию страны.
В связи с закрытием украинской стороной всего периметра государственной границы Министерство иностранных дел Беларуси обращает внимание белорусских граждан на рекомендацию установить и поддерживать постоянный контакт с посольством Беларуси в Украине и главным консульским управлением белорусского внешнеполитического ведомства. Сообщалось, что ведется работа с украинской стороной по поиску путей эвакуации белорусских граждан.
Посольство Беларуси и главное консульское управление МИД переведены на круглосуточный режим работы. В белорусском внешнеполитическом ведомстве советовали следить за обновлениями информации на сайте МИД и в социальных сетях.

I recently learned my surname is not Polish, but Belarusian. I heard you on shortwave in the past and am so happy to listen online in English.
