En el marco de la Expo en Dubái (Emiratos Árabes Unidos, EAU) las empresas de la provincia de Brest concluyeron contratos por 18 millones de dólares. Lo comunicó el 26 de enero durante una reunión informativa el dirigente de la delegación de la región belarusa en la Expo 2020 vicepresidente del Comité Ejecutivo de la provincia de Brest, Dmitri Gorodetski, reporta BelTA.
En vísperas de la Expo 2020 se celebraron los Días de la Provincia de Brest presentada por los dirigentes y empleados de nueve compañías. El potencial económico, inversionista y turístico de la región lo presentaron, en particular, Santa Bremor, Barhim, 1AK-GROUP, grupo de compañías STiM, Fábrica de Mantequilla y Queso de Kobrin, Fábrica de Carne de Brest, consorcio Brestmiasomolprom, Parque Científico-Tecnológico de Brest, Parque Nacional Belovézhskaya Puscha.
“Antes de la exposición analizamos las oportunidades para firmar los contratos con nuestras empresas y organizaciones. En general, todo salió bien. Se firmaron dos contratos con las compañías de la República Popular China, cuatro – con los residentes de los Emiratos Árabes Unidos. También se firmaron contratos con los residentes de Nigeria, Hong Kong, Jordania, Rumania y otros países, 14 contratos por 18 millones de dólares en total. Unos 8 millones de dólares de esta suma son contratos con las compañías de los EAU. Lo consideramos un buen resultado ya que el año pasado las exportaciones de la provincia de Brest a los EAU representaron unos 5 millones de dólares”, destacó Dmitri Gorodetski.
En particular, se concluyeron contratos de suministro al mercado árabe de leche en polvo, helado en polvo otros alimenticios. Santa Bremor y el grupo de compañías STiM aumentarán los volúmenes de sus ventas. Barhim pactó con una compañía de Dubái la promoción de sus productos en el mercado de los EAU. Se firmó el convenio con los socios chinos sobre la oportunidad para fundar en la provincia una fábrica de producción de heparina. El interés de los inversores potenciales lo despertaron también las ofertas inversionistas de la zona franca Brest de producción de cargadores para vehículos eléctricos y máquinas de ultrasonido.
“El interés fue bastante vivo. A las negociaciones y presentación se unieron unos 18 representantes de las compañías árabes: logísticas, inversionistas, de distribución de productos alimenticios, comercio de materias primas, sector de industria petroquímica. La comunicación fue bastante cálida y productiva. Está claro que no es de esperar una entrada rápida en el mercado premium de los Emiratos Árabes Unidos. Sin embargo, teniendo una buena reacción de respuesta en el marco de la comunicación, vemos en qué dirección hace falta avanzar. Un buen nicho son los productos alimenticios, considero que es nuestro punto fuerte. También es de importancia que los EAU pueden convertirse en un buen punto de arranque para el desarrollo de las relaciones económico-comerciales con los estados contiguos donde también hay un buen mercado solvente”, resumió Dmitri Gorodetski.
